Yes. Dr. Koen offers 24-hour emergency dental care, staffed by our assistants who are familiar with both our treatments and patients. To reach an assistant after hours, call our emergency number at (615) 218-0957 and leave a message stating your emergency.
Some dental issues may seem urgent, but often they can wait until you can be seen by Dr. Koen during normal office hours. These include a loose band or bracket, a lost tie wire or elastic tie, or any poking or soreness from braces. When you call, one of our available assistants will call you back to assess the issue and either advise you to come in or help with ways to alleviate discomfort until normal operating hours resume.
We also offer Dental Monitoring which allows Dr. Koen and her staff to virtually check your teeth every week. This allows appointments to be spaced more conveniently for our patients while actually monitoring treatment more closely. This free service is available for Invisalign and Braces patients of all ages.
Dr. Koen works with Family Dentists, Physical Therapists and Oral Surgeons to help our patients who experience issues with TMJ.
