Yes. Dr. Koen offers 24-hour emergency dental care, staffed by our assistants who are familiar with our treatments and our patients. To reach an assistant after hours, call our emergency number at (615) 218-0957 and leave a message explaining your needs.
Some dental issues may seem urgent, but often, things like a loose band or bracket, a lost tie wire or elastic tie, or any poking or soreness from braces can wait until you can be seen by Dr. Koen during normal office hours. When you call, one of our available assistants will call you back to assess the issue and either advise you to come in or help with ways to alleviate discomfort at home.
We offer dental monitoring, which allows Dr. Koen and her staff to virtually check your teeth every week. This allows appointments to be spaced more conveniently for our patients, while monitoring treatment more closely. This service is available for Invisalign and braces patients of all ages.
Dr. Koen also works with Family Dentists, Physical Therapists and Oral Surgeons to help our patients who experience issues with TMJ.
